Our mission is to empower, educate, and equip survivors of domestic violence through acknowledging, preparing, and affirming their whole selves. We implement this mission through innovative, individualized, and impactful programming that meets the needs of our survivors.

S.M.O.O.O.T.H. provides support to those who are rebuilding their lives, those that have faced adversity — and won. Candidates of our Pretty Scars into Stars event are selected from local transitional centers to receive a “Purple Carpet Makeover.” A continuous day dedicated to celebrating growth, transformation, and survival through external and internal restoration. Our schedule includes facials, massages, teeth whitening, professional hair, nail, and make-up services. 

Following their cosmetic treatment, Pretty Scars into Stars’ honorees gather for a catered dinner accompanied by their close family or friends for an ultimate Purple Carpet reveal. Special guests, motivational speakers, and charitable sponsors also gather for the evening.    

We aim to empower our survivors as they transition into new beginnings, but we need your help to sustain and amplify this endeavor. Donors can make a tax-deductible monetary donation, sponsor products, and volunteer during pre-and-post-event processes.
