Our mission is to empower, educate, and equip survivors of domestic violence through acknowledging, preparing, and affirming their whole selves. We implement this mission through innovative, individualized, and impactful programming that meets the needs of our survivors.

Each December, S.M.O.O.O.T.H. partners with local abuse and transitional centers to host, S.M.O.O.O.T.H. Santa, a pre-Christmas Extravaganza where families affected by Domestic Violence can experience the magic and joy of the holiday season. This event provides a safe and enjoyable Winter Wonderland adventure. Participants take pictures with Santa, make and hang decorations on our S.M.O.O.O.T.H Christmas Tree, enjoy music, hot chocolate, treats, games, and much more. Most importantly, children are gifted age-appropriate toys at the event to open Christmas morning!

The holiday season is known as one of the most wonderful times of the year. Unfortunately, for many, it represents hardship and struggling to make ends meet. We need your help to make Christmas brighter for the children of our butterflies.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible monetary donation to the overall program, click here. If you would like to make a product donation, please contact us via email info@smooothinc.org to schedule pick up.  

IMPORTANT: If you donate in-kind items to S.M.O.O.O.T.H., please make sure to complete an In-Kind Form and mail it back to info@smooothinc.org. Thank you!

Below are some ideas for gifts per age range:

  • NB-12 Months: Nursery Toys, Teething Toys, Interactive Learning Toys (musical, counting, spelling, speech), Ride-On Toys, Sit-To-Stand Walkers, Activity Blankets, Soft Building Blocks

  • Toddlers: Interactive Learning Toys (VTECH/Leapfrog), Toy Trucks/Cars, Action Figures/Dolls (and accessories), Costume/Dress-Up Items, Sports Equipment (all types), Board Games, Puzzles, *Bikes, Scooters, Building Blocks/Legos, Stuffed Animals, Play Food/Dishes

  • Children (up to 12 years old): Action Figures/Dolls, *Bikes, Scooters, Sports Equipment (all types), Tween Make-Up Sets, Arts and Crafts Kits, Science/Discovery Kits, Board Games, Puzzles, Legos, Portable DVD Players, Remote Control Cars/Helicopters

  • *Bikes = please ensure they are not assembled and are still in the box!
